hsmc-dash and pups
Dash will be spayed and she and her precious puppies will find loving homes, thanks to your generous donations.

Animal care donations directly support shelter operations and help provide care for our shelter animals which include food, cat litter, toys, animal supplies, medications, vaccines, and medical care.

Angel Fund donations are used to provide necessary medical care for owned animals in families with financial challenges, who without help feel they have no alternative than to surrender their animal companions. This fund supports owned animals from many backgrounds, including our community’s underserved low-income population, senior citizens, and families facing short-term financial challenges.

Marlie’s Fund offsets the cost of long-term medication or specialized food for shelter animals whose adoption may depend on this financial assistance. This relieves the financial burden of adoptive families and gives these animals a second chance to go to a loving forever home.

TNR (trap, neuter, and return) is the humane solution to controlling the population of feral / community cats. Working with several collaborative partners the TNR program supports the trapping of these cats, who are then spayed or neutered, ear-tipped, vaccinated, and returned to their respective colonies within 48 hours.

Spay / Neuter donations support our high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter program that offers low-cost or no-cost surgeries that help control the overpopulation of cats and dogs in our community. Spay/neuter reduces the number of homeless animals, thereby reducing the overpopulation of our community’s animal shelters, which supports our county’s no-kill initiative.
