Jeffrey Gerhard- Treasurer Maudlin & Jenkins Jeff Gerhard, CPA joined the Humane Society of Manatee County Board of Directors in November, 2005. He is currently the Treasurer and the Chair of the Finance Committee and Audit Committee. Jeff is the Audit Manager for Maudlin & Jenkins CPAs in Bradenton. He resides in Sarasota with his family (Stephanie, Sydney, and Connor) and their adopted cat and dog (Whispers and Mr. Muggs, respectively). |

Melanie Luten Blalock, Walters, Held & Johnson Melanie is a principal of Blalock, Walters, Held & Johnson, P.A. whose practice focuses on corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate. In her spare time, she enjoys training and competing with her dogs. |

Rebecca Neal- President Originally from Richmond, VA, Rebecca brought with her to Florida her love of animals and a desire to advocate for animal welfare in her community. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2006 and has helped to steer the organization towards their mission of creating a no-kill community in Manatee County. In addition to her work to protect animals, Rebecca is an active member of Junior League of Manatee County. She lives in Bradenton with her husband, John Neal of Neal Communities, two beautiful daughters, three Australian shepherds, and one cat. |

Lindsey Schuster- Board Member Kerkering, Barbarerio & Co. Lindsey Schuster, CPA graduated from USF Sarasota/Manatee with a degree in accounting. She is a tax supervisor with Kerkering, Barbarerio & Co. and practices in all areas of tax compliance and consulting. In addition to the board, she also sits on the finance committee. Lindsey currently resides in Manatee County with her fiance Matt and adopted dog Willie. |

David Fink - Vice President Rogan & Associates David is a Chartered Financial Analyst with nearly 20 years experience in the securities industry. He joined Rogan & Associates in 2008 and is based in the Sarasota/Manatee office. David uses his substantial experience and expertise to help his clients plan their financial futures. David and his wife Debbie live in Parrish with their five dogs (yes, five), miniature horses and cat. David & Debbie can often be found outdoors with their animals, on the water, working out or with family and friends. |

Misty Servia - Secretary Misty is the Planning Dept.Mgr for King Engineering and a Sr. Manager for SendOutCards. She and her husband Joaquin are raising their 3 children in Manatee County. The Servias have a love for all animals, currently they share their home with 5 cats. Misty serves on the board of Pace Ctr for Girls and Florida Planning & Zoning Asso., is a member of the LWR Kiwanis and Gov't Affairs Committee for Gulf Coast Builders Exchange, a mentor for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and sits on the Leadership Manatee Board of Governors and is Past President of the Manatee Seminole Club. |

Mark Burke- Board Member Mark, a native of Manatee County, is the Headend Operations Manager for Bright House Networks and has worked for the company for 26 years. He is a member of the Hernando DeSoto Historical Society, Leadership Manatee Alumni Board, Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and has served on many other local boards. He enjoys living the Florida lifestyle and boating with his wife Wanda and is excited to be serving on a board that cares so much about the welfare of animals in Manatee County.

Cindy Pierro- Board Member Cindy is a native of Manatee County and graduate of Florida International University with a degree in International Relations. Currently she is a realtor with Michael Saunders & Co. She and her husband Rich have 2 children, Eric currently serving in the US Army and Paige who is attending FSU. Her love for animals started at a very young age and she feels strongly about caring for God's special creatures that have no voices. She shares her home with 2 dachshunds named Zaley & Dixie and Spish the cat. |

Xatvia Bailey- Board Member Xtavia is the Regional Director for Jim Brown's Amer-I-Can program which teaches life skills to middle and high school students. She is also Club Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Manatee County. Married to Ed Bailey, President of the Manatee NAACP, she has 2 children, Amara & Edward Jr. She is very family oriented and also advocates for Lupus in her spare time. Her dog "Tweeky" was adopted from HSMC. Her favorite quote is "What you do speaks so loud; I cannot hear what you say" -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
